Dig went "out of
print" earlier than any of our other product, even the Folk
Pistols cassettes, and hasn't been available for years. Even Tony
and Charlie don't know some of these - well Tony didn't 'til he
re-recorded Dig for us on an
Anthology CD "box set" for our 1999 Christmas presents!
This is the album most similar to Barndancing
in its structure (several sets are suitable for barn dancing).
1 Johnny's Down The River / Sugar In My Coffee-O
2 Crow Black Chicken A prototype version of "I
Like Chicken Pie".
3 (The) Trout Sisters One of the Prof's. When these
details were first put on I said "I can't remember when we
last played this one". I can now. We resurrected it at the
Grand Ceilidh Club in January 2000. I don't know when
we'll play this one again!
4 Two-Step De Bayou Têche
5 Vandals of Hammerwich
6 (There's) No Hell In Georgia / Rattler Treed A Possum This
one's always been enormously popular with us and we use it as the
last dance of the "first half". Perhaps it's popular
because the food always seems to arrive when we play it.
